About Us

Andy Vidamour - Director / Instructor/ Examiner

Andy started flying as a teenager and landed his first commercial job at 23 with Blue Islands on the Jetstream 32.

He left Blue Islands as Safety Manager and Instructor on the ATR 42 and joined the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) as a Captain on the DHC-6 Twin Otter and later the DHC-7.

V Aero Training was setup after multiple enquiries for bespoke training courses. These are for people at various levels in their aviation development (private or commercial licences) and can be on their own aircraft subject to its certification.
